This book sends an encouraging message to a growing child on how we motivate efforts to explore rather than believing that the child cannot do it. The illustrations reflect Mahir Mirza growing up with family and grandparents, and the activities that they do together. Truly in Singapore context, at home, the activities like swimming classes, kite-flying at Marina Barrage with the background of multi-racial Singapore families. I gifted a set to my nephew who went through all the rites, same activities like Mahir with doting grandparents. It is very relatable to him.
